Celebrities: The Complete Michael Database
Published in Spiral-bound by Causalworks (January, 1996)
Author: Emily Baumbach
Average review score:

An informative and timely book
This book is a wonderful compilation of information about famous people and their personality types according to a personality model based in The Michael teachings. I not only found this book valuable, I found it a witty and an essential read in compiling data for a book I wrote, "The Seven Aspects of Sisterhood: Empowering Women Through Self-Discovery".

Emily's attention to detail, as well as desire to bring principles of the Michael teachings to light is the key to her success to organizing a large volume of data into an easy to understand reference book.

I keep this well-loved and earmarked book on my shelf, easy to access when I have a question about how to read the personality of a celebrity or someone that appears to be like someone famous. Thanks to Emily's research, I have an excellent source to reference.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about type and anyone interested in the Michael teachings or in the Seven Aspects Model.

Changing the Pattern: The Story of Emily Stowe
This wonderful children's book is truly written with the child in mind. Many short stories that create the whole. The side bars are an excellent touch for added information. Ms. Waxman takes you on the journey of one woman's path to change a woman's pattern and become Canada's first female doctor. This book combines history with an easy to read story. It is sure to teach young minds and widen their horizons. To think beyond the stereotype. To make your dreams come true. This book shall be shared with my grandchildren and I look forward to reading other books by Sydell Waxman.

Charlotte and Emily Brontë : literary lives
Published in Unknown Binding by Macmillan ()
Author: Tom Winnifrith
Average review score:

a classic !
I wonder both how it is that I'm the first to review it and why it has gone out of print! Have we got our senses? This is, by far, the best SHORT "literary live" ever written. A classic in the sense that, being easy to read, every word is important and fits its unique place: you can only add or detract one word off this little marvel so much for the worse. It links beautifully what we KNOW about the life of Emily and Charlotte with their lasting work. Many Brontë students will find that this is enough for them. If not, there is always CHITHAM and GERIN full-scale biographies (and I'm thinking mostly about Emily).

This is an AWESOME Reference
When I first laid eyes on the workbook, I fell in love with it. It gives a step-by-step guide into turning our little tomboys into princesses. It is fun to read and all teenage girls love it. Because of the Biblical background to assist in training our young girls, this is a perfect addition to your church library.

Closing Sales and Winning the Coustomer's Heart
Published in Paperback by Crisp Pubns (December, 2000)
Authors: George Young and Emily King Parker
Average review score:

Knowledge is power -- and money
That is the theme of this terrific book which points out that sales of top-end items (jewelry, cars, real estate, etc.) are ultimately INTERPERSONAL transactions -- and that the seller must be able to "read" the personality of the prospective buyer in order to close the sale. The author uses the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator as the basis for her personality profiling; but the book is most valuable to any salesperson, even if you're an MBTI rookie.

Colors of the Navajo
Published in Hardcover by Turtleback Books Distributed by Demco Media (January, 1997)
Authors: Emily Abbink and Janice Lee Porter
Average review score:

Rich Colors of the Navajo World!
As you would expect, "Colors of the Navajo" is full of rich, color illustrations. Each page focuses on one color, much like an ABC book for colors. The illustrations on each page are predominantly in the color being described. The text beautifully teaches about one aspect of the Navajo World through each color. For example, "Turquoise" is used to share information about the history of silversmithing and the creation of jewelry with turquoise stones. "Red" is used to share the beliefs about sacred red ants and the use of sandpaintings in healing ceremonies. Although it appears to be presented in a simple form, the rich color illustrations will hold a child's attention long enough to read or listen to the rich historical and cultural information being given.
